    • Used to be super average in everything and a normal guy
    • He had no benefit to be able to grow a men’s health company and nothing going for him that would allow him to share the stage with incredible people.

      • He knew the kind of life that he wanted to live and a job wouldn’t get him there.
      • He knew what he life he didn’t want to live looked like.
        • Business allowed him to achieve the life he wanted.
      • He started his first business when he was 12 years old.
      • Pressure is what creates the diamond and refining fire makes gold valuable.
      • Is failure a lack of opportunity or a lack of education?
        • It’s not a lack of opportunity, you need to fully immerse and commit yourself to the results you want.
      • Success always leaves clues
        • They always invest in themselves, their number one asset.
      • You have to know that someone else isn’t going to make anything happen for you, you need to make it happen for yourself.
    • Why are people afraid to invest in themselves?
      • There are two types of people
        • One will spend like crazy hoping their investment will make it easy for them.
          • This doesn’t work, it just give you the tools.
        • The other person is too scared to make an investment. They’re too frugal.
          • You have to do something you’ve never done before even though it’s uncomfortable.
        • Make decisions quickly and then change them slowly.
        • Make sure that you’re educated to make a quick decision, indecision is the killer – good and bad decisions just are what they are.
        • Always know the worst-case scenario.
          • Don’t just look at the upside or the downside, look at both.
        • Put the risk on yourself, not on other people.
        • Your time is a more valuable asset than your money is.
        • Things that have been done and discovered before are things we can build upon.
          • You need to continually learn and then take action.
        • Information + Application = Transformation
          • When you read a book, apply something right away to get a result
        • Do you think that what you know or who you know is more important and why?
          • Easily who you know.
          • Knowing stuff is great, but you need to know how to utilize it.

          • Gained weight and used Nicholas’ business to get in shape and build a great connection.

          • Don’t be offendable, assume the best.
            • Assumption is discernment from the devil.
